Take your wind energy career to new heights with the EAWE Scholarship Scheme.
The European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) has introduced an exciting opportunity for emerging talents in the field of wind energy.
The EAWE Scholarship Scheme provides financial support to students and early-career researchers within the wind energy community, ensuring a fair, transparent, and unified allocation process.
This initiative is designed to support participation in the WESC 2027, the upcoming EAWE PhD Seminars, or contribute towards publication fees in the Wind Energy Science Journal.

“I appreciate being selected for the EAWE Scholarship, which allows me to present my PhD project plan and initial results at the PhD Seminar 2024. Taking part in the seminar is a great opportunity for me to engage in inspiring discussions to improve my work and help with writing my first first-author paper. As an early-stage researcher, I am especially looking forward to meeting PhD students who work on similar topics and looking for potential future collaborations. In addition to attending the seminar, the scholarship also facilitates travelling more climate-friendly by train and boat.”
“The 2024 EAWE Scholarship will enable me to support my research on experimental high Reynolds numbers physics and will contribute towards my travel costs to the upcoming Wind Energy Science Conference 2025 in Nantes, where new results will be presented.”
“Receiving the 2024 EAWE Scholarship is a tremendous honor that will significantly contribute to my research in wind energy. This support inspires confidence in my work. I am excited to continue my academic pursuits with the backing of the European Academy of Wind Energy.”
